We’re a non-academic academy dissolving the false dichotomies that constrain contemporary music-making; creating spaces where supposed opposites become creative partners. Think Darmstadt Summer Course meets Burning Man: intensive artistic exploration within a community that feels like summer camp for thoughtful rebels. Since 2021, our European network has grown through partnerships that prove serious music education can be radically inclusive, democratically organized, and transformatively fun.

Our Mission
At Hangzavart? we bring together musicians from all backgrounds to challenge norms, dissolve hierarchies, and explore new ways of learning and creating.
Creative Residencies
Our programs are intense but playful laboratories: mornings filled with rehearsals and workshops, nights with open-ended jams, debates, and experiments. Each residency becomes a self-organizing ecosystem where participants shape the process as much as the mentors.
Rethinking Music Education
Instead of repeating outdated categories—tradition vs. progress, intellect vs. body—we design spaces where these opposites fuel each other. The result is a practice that feels both rigorous and free, critical and joyful.
A Growing European Network
Since 2021 we’ve been building a community across borders: led by young professionals, advised by established artists, and expanded through Erasmus+ partnerships. This network proves that serious education can be radically open and future-oriented.
